Project Timeline
1. Overhaul of gas engines and auxiliary systems, 1st and 3rd engines were replaced with short-block engines and the 2nd engine was completely overhauled according to 30k running hours maintenance plan.
2. Maintenance and improvement of medium voltage systems.
3. Maintenance and improvement of automated systems.

Maintenance of
gas engines
Maintenance of gas engines was done on the basis of the manufacturer’s procedure, including the complete auxiliary systems such as: heat exchangers, turbo cooling pumps, modular cooling pumps, etc.
Engine No.1 and No.3 with generators were completely dismantled and removed from engine rooms.


Genset number two was completely disassembled in the engine room. The jobs that were involved in this renewal of the machine are: changing the bearings of the main shaft, replacing/overhauling the pistons and connecting rods, machining and overhauling of the cylinder heads and liners, crankshaft inspection, generator maintenance etc.
Basically complete engine and auxiliary systems were dismantled, cleaned, inspected, repaired and/or replaced.


The auxiliary systems also included the repair of the complete exhaust system with the exhaust heat exchanger.


Maintenance of
medium voltage system
In a gas power plant, the complete medium voltage system consists of generators, generator protection relays, cubicles and transformers.
Each element is tested and maintained separately.

Maintenance of
E&A systems
Plant and engine automation control systems were inspected and maintened. During the inspection and maintenance process, main aim was to meet all requirements of the established maintenance program for all systems. This mean that all systems were separately started, tested, measured and improved if needed. Safety checks and tests were done during the first run according to briefly planned and organized procedure.
